Many people see a new country with an informative guide in the front of the bus describing what they are seeing.
We were most fortunate to have Mike and Gaby to suggest good places to see, inform us about Argentine life, history, culture, and help us translate. They opened our eyes in a way we couldn’t imagine.
Mike was good with map reading and leading us through neighborhoods to our destinations. He has the knack for initiating conversation with locals and summarizing quickly so we understood what was being shared. He made sure we never were uncomfortably lost. He also enjoyed selecting Argentine/Uruguayan wines to try. He would scout neighborhoods. Mike was fantastic.

Gaby translated customs and explained what was going on when we met new encounters and observations. She navigated our course giving us tips such as securing more leg space on the long international flights and when and what to eat and/or drink to make it to the late dining hour. She coordinated our social calendars with her friends and family while visiting their towns. She made sure we balanced our busy schedules with power walks and bike rides. Gaby is incredible!

When we were not with Gaby and Mike we relied on our English speaking Air B n B hosts to help us navigate the local areas. Erik from Puerto Iguazu was a very informative guide helping us cross the Brazilian border and enter the national park to see the Falls. He shared his mate with us, too!

But none were as amazing and talented as our good friends Mike and Gaby, the absolute best tour guides in the whole wide world. We are eternally grateful for guiding us through our unforgettable month in Argentina and Uruguay! β€οΈ Ricardo and Arleen
