Vagabond Hearts

woke up this morning….

Badlands NP SD

When traveling across country you take a lot of sunset photos.  Well, my patient readers, today you get a “sunrise over the Badlands”shot.

Our camp neighbors are traveling all over the country with 3 kids between the ages of 8-15, 3 dogs between 15-30 lbs, 1 Maine Coon kitten found outside a bar,  another mischievous cat, 2 lizards, and a 2 betas in a tank with a separation panel so they don’t fight. … Oh and two really friendly, courageous ladies, 2 bikes and 3 skateboards.

They said their RV is like the one on Breaking Bad.

Simone and Peanut, Eva and Cinnamon, and Celeste and her Siberian Husky, Jet,with one brown eye and the other with half brown on top and half ice blue on the bottom.  Super engaging, intelligent girls.

We went hiking in the Badlands.  500-600 million years ago the Badlands were all underwater and many ancient sea creature fossils have been found here.  The geologic formations are incredible and fun to scramble around.

Some close-ups of the rocks

Hiking with Dick can be tiresome 😉

The Badlands visit was great!

Wow! Bringing back memories from when I was 17 when we drove across country with my parents and a pop-up camper. Is that Dick posing in the Jockey ad at the bottom of your post. 🙂
