Mount Fuji is a UNESCO heritage site

Fuji san’s presence looms throughout Fujinomiya. The incredible Mt Fuji World Heritage Center contains the history, cultural, and geologic composition of the mountain.

The center has a wooden structure that creates a reflection of the mountain.

Yabusame (流鏑馬) is a type of mounted archery. An archer on a running horse shoots three special “turnip-headed” arrows successively at three wooden targets.
This archery event dates back to 1193
